Bathroom, Sandhurst

A main bathroom with a persistent damp patch on the bedroom wall behind it. The previous installer had tiled straight onto screed with no membrane and no falls to the outlet.

We stripped it back to slab, laid a torch-on membrane with a 48-hour flood test, and rebuilt with travertine slabs, a freestanding bath and brushed nickel fittings throughout.

Six weeks door to door, including the two weeks the client added when they changed the vanity stone after the strip-out. That change was priced, approved in writing and added to the programme before we ordered.
